I've tried in the past to do this challenge before, but I don't know if I've ever really followed through. I think my reading has really suffered lately, though, and I need something to help me get going again.
One of my goals at the beginning of this year was to get through some of the books on my shelves. I've got two full bookshelves, and I was hoping by the end of the year to clear off at least one of them (to hopefully make room for keeper books). Sadly, I think I've got more books on my shelves than I did at the start of the year. This isn't going well.
So, for this challenge, while I will still read a few library books, I'm really going to focus more on reading from my shelves. And on reading more than I have been, because my reading has been pitiful lately. So, here's my list of books I want to read between now and December 21st:

ReplyDeleteWhat a great list. I wish you success with it. I found many on your list to be added to my TBR list. Thanks
ReplyDeleteI can completely relate to your experience of finding more and more unread books on your shelves as the year goes on! I'm intrigued by the Orson Scott Card books on your list. I've only read Ender's Game by him, but I really liked it... Maybe I should try some more. Thanks for being part of Fall Into Reading 2011!
ReplyDeleteI think the only book on your list that I've already read is Girls in Pants. I'll be interested in your reviews. Happy reading!
ReplyDeleteZOINKS! So ambitious! Huzzah! to your list and good luck! :)
