February Reading Plans

I did pretty well with my January reading plans.  I read just about everything I wanted to read, and a few other books besides.  Here's what I read in January:
  1. Inside Out (Harlequin Teen)
  2. Outside In (Harlequin Teen)
  3. Eye For Eye / The Tunesmith (Tor Science Fiction Double, No 27)
  4. The Walking Dead, Vol. 9: Here We Remain
  5. The Walking Dead, Vol. 10: What We Become
  6. The Spirit Rebellion (The Legend of Eli Monpress)
  7. To Kill A Warlock: Dulcie O'Neil Series
  8. The Winter Rose
  9. Amazon Ink
  10. The Legend of Vysallimore
  11. Triumff: Her Majesty's Hero (Angry Robot)
  12. Full House (Full Series)
  13. The Walking Dead Volume 11: Fear The Hunters
  14. The Great Hunt (The Wheel of Time, Book 2)
  15. The Hundred Thousand Kingdoms (Inheritance Series #1) by N. K. Jemisin
  16. Can You Survive the Zombie Apocalypse?
And here are the books I hope to read in February:

The Spirit Eater (The Legend of Eli Monpress)
The Spirit Eater (The Legend of Eli Monpress)

This is the third in a series that I've really been enjoying.  It'll be nice to be caught up with the series.  I got this one from the library.

The Mage in Black (Sabina Kane)
The Mage in Black (Sabina Kane)

Another series that I started, I've got the third one (Green-Eyed Demon (Sabina Kane)) on my e-reader from Netgalley, so I've got to read this second one first.  I got this from the library.

The Dragon Reborn: Book Three of 'The Wheel of Time'The Dragon Reborn: Book Three of 'The Wheel of Time'

I really struggled through much of The Great Hunt, but I'm going to continue my project of getting caught up with this series this year.  This one came from my shelf, too, so it will help with my goal of reading from my shelves.

Divine Appointments: A Novel (A Snowglobe Connections Novel)Divine Appointments: A Novel (A Snowglobe Connections Novel)

I got this one for review.  I'm honestly not extremely excited about it, but I'm hoping to be surprised.

Sing You Home: A Novel

Sing You Home: A Novel

I got an ARC of this one.  I used to love Jodi Picoult, but I haven't read a book of hers for years.  I might save this one for next month, but at the moment it's in my February pile.

Fire Burn and Cauldron Bubble: The Jolie Wilkins Series, Book 1Fire Burn and Cauldron Bubble: The Jolie Wilkins Series, Book 1

I read To Kill A Warlock: Dulcie O'Neil Series last month, as planned, and thought it was a really fun read.  This is another one the author asked me to read and review, so I have a couple of reasons to read this one.  I've got in on my e-reader.

Alcatraz Versus The Shattered LensAlcatraz Versus The Shattered Lens

Just a series I'm trying to get caught up on.  I got this one from the library.

Flesh and Fire: Book One of The Vineart WarFlesh and Fire: Book One of The Vineart War

I'm reading this for the Reading Cove bookclub.  Most of the group reads aren't my thing at all, but for once there's one that's in my genre.  Hopefully I'll enjoy it.  I got this from the library.

The Thief-taker's ApprenticeThe Thief-taker's Apprentice

An online friend sent me a copy of this one, and it's one I've been hoping to read, so I'm excited about getting to it.

Laney (The Brookehaven Vampires)

The same friend sent this one, saying she didn't like it, but had read a lot of positive reviews, so she was interested in a second opinion.

Other than that I'm going to try to read a few books from my shelves (whatever grabs me) and hopefully get to some of the books I've downloaded from netgalley (I've got quite a few).

  1. Goodness that's ambitious! To me at least -- I have already finished my feb Spec Fic Challenge book but haven't dived into anything else yet. But it's only the first day of the month -- I've got time. Happy reading!

  2. I like to be ambitious. :) It pushes me to read more, which I need sometimes when I'm tempted to just play around on the computer.
